he checks behind, so i naturally remove kings from his range =(

queen comes and i bet out representing a king

the river bet should fold out a lot that beats me, right? maybe the sizing was off but still...

hes not peeling with a draw on the turn so when he calls the turn and river bricks hes prolly calling that bet too

dont bet turn or river
just check it down

betting turn is ok if u have like 67s or w/e i guess but u have showdown value

....turning a showdownable hand into a bluff is in my bloooodd >=D

anyways

ok so you also think that i should bet at this turn and give up river then?

what im saying is - your 99 has showdown value here, by betting turn you're not getting called by a worse hand so you're deciding to turn your hand into a bluff
if u had 67s for example, it wouldn't be bad to bet really although i'd probably still check it, but it wouldn't be too bad because 67s doesnt have showdown value.

of course... i understand.

but it's not okay to continue with the bluff once called on turn? since the river card is a blank?

i.e. am i going to see Qx calling me down a lot on the river?

ggplz   Sweden. Mar 02 2008 02:53. Posts 16784

yeah
i dont think its worth it because i mean it is possible he has like JT i guess and u still have some showdown value but u cant bet and expect a fold i dont think
check
