and yeah i think this is a fold, i doubt he's doing this for value with a worse hand and i don't think he's bluffing ~50% of the time

i tanked forever, called with about 4 seconds left on timebank. my reasoning was the way the hand played out, he had no reason to believe i had a ten or a flush, so there was no reason to overbet shove because theres no assurance he is enticing a call from a big hand that wouldnt otherwise raise the river

it can be dangerous to assume villains actually think sometimes, although in this case you're reasoning led you to the right decision ;p

And why can't he think you have a flush here? I don't get the reasoning... You can play that line with a backdoor flush draw, so why'd that be surprising to him if he's actually thinking (which it doesn't look like)?

I think its more likely villian isnt thinking at all and just panics cause hes not getting enough value out of his awesome quads or w/e.

what wackass site is this nigga?

well, i figured people would just keep saying fold, so i wanted to post my analysis and see what people thought about it.

i thought this situation was different from some others where people just shove because of the reasons i stated

Wouldnt you say its equally unreasonable to shove as a bluff here as it is to shove for value?

this kind of hand is purely dependent on how well you know opponent
imo most people who push like that are bluffing

With guys who are going to do this there can't be much logic. It's just really bad to overshove any hand here against you, so you just have to decide whether he values a flush high enough to shove it there. If he does call, but there's a lot of players who won't vlaue it high enough and only be pushing boats here. I think guys like this are thinking more about hand value than "he doesn't have a T or flush" or "worse big hands would raise the river."
