Should I push the flop? I thought he either had the straight or something like 88-1010 and the allin on the turn pretty much confirmed the latter for me.

If you're going to raise the flop better make it a lot bigger, that kind of raise really screams flushdraw.

Should make it like this:

Monte_SS_86: bets $2

i think raising to 9 screams flush draw even more, the overbet makes it very obvious that you're making a move with a draw for fold equity, i believe it was ket who said that big draws tend to overbet or overraise so they're pretty transparent when someone plays it extremely fast... i think 6-7 is fine

i think pushing to his reraise is good too as you have 2 overs the flush draw and a gutshot so you're obviously ahead unless he has a straight or a set

At $50nl I don't think people can get past the fast that you just raised potsize (omg monster). But you're probably right.
