is this a good fold? J9 seems like such a possible hand, but the raise size is unorthodox. i think he may have had a Jdxd or a 9dxd for a monster draw trying to push other people out of the pot or maybe queens up, but the straight scared the shit out of me and with crappy implied odds (he only had $23~ left), i didn't feel like i could call

btw nobody give me shit about checking bottom set, because i knew 100% that zperky was going to bet because he was doing it almost every pot, even ones he didn't raise, he's a total fish

I can see folding this but you have to be sure townsend doesn't just have AQo... there's straight, higher trips... but would he bet them that way? I don't know but I'm guessing you observed him and that's why you'd lay this down. Otherwise, say it was one of his first hands at the table and I hadn't observed him I'd push... he could have a great draw like AdTd or 2 pair and it would be likely that your trips are the best hand...
