Ugly. They say hu is dead.

I had a question for you. I Been enjoying playing husngs on Bova day wherever I can get the action from 20+1/50.25/100+5. In plo or nlhe (they even have plo8 which I gotta imagine is crushable. I play it sometimes. I can't decide if this rake is better or worse than for regular games. For low plot it's probably better. But in he u can never benefit from no flop no drop and hands that don't hit the rake cap? You have any thoughts on that?.

Just hurts my soul whenever I see what I pay in rake. Of it was like a 2% not a doubt in my mind I'd be playing 5/10 plus in a couple weeks

ive raked like 4k$ at nl50/nl100 hu over the past 3 weeks since i started grinding. Been grinding really hard though. its fucking insane. in fact, lifetime i have raked enough to pay the CEO of amaya a years supply of high end prostitutes.

HU is kinda dead but its bumhuntable. sometimes the zoom pools are like 3regs on 2 tables and a fish. (7 tables running) if you are an average reg and say breakeven against other regs. you get seated with the fish 1/5 times. So if your breaking even against the 4/5 times your seated against a reg, you getting raked 12-13bb/100 on average, and need to beat the fish by 50bb/100+ to be a winner.

I think a lot of the 'reg's are actually degens who are on a heater over 10k hands and think they are crushing when in fact they are getting smashed. Some just seem to be losing regs, and then there are a few very good ones who supposedly can beat the game. Not sure if i'm one of them.

Im hoping phil galfonds runitonce will offer competition for HU rake and bring HUNL back to life.

as far as no flop no drop goes. there are a couple of players that fold too much to 3bets, or too much to steal. (my steal is 85% with 2.44x). So i guess money can be printed against them.

I think to be a winner its mostly about game selecting for a good zoom pool. it makes a huge difference. i mean its really possible to get a 10-40bb/100 winrate if you just game selected whales like this when regs arnt around haha.
