pretty sure this is the best hand to pot, overbet, shove on this flop onwards with this hand, mostly irrelevant of turn/river except when they pair up or something

doesn't matter, when spitfiree sees AKx flop he just pots, overbets and shoves, very good strategy, villain must surely fold everything, right ? especially when he is stacking off with A3o.

^well,he didn't stack off with A3o, he bluffed with it because of the AKx board

idk what ahn means, what I'm saying is the guy probably bluffed this board because he saw it being AKxx and thought "range advantage", possibly completely disregarding straights, which is different than calling down a turn or river all in from hero on this board.

We don't know from this hand if he's a station as blizzy concluded, it's a weird bluff

or it could be the rare fish that massively overestimates top pair bad kicker and even takes a tricky line for value with it, who knows?
In that case Spitfiree's plan would be suicidal, but cmon everyone knows not to bluff such a guy

Guy hasn't got a full stack so it is very likely he is a fish. I don't play HU, only when starting tables, but I don't see many regs in games I play use this strategy of shoving turn with TP Ace as a bluff, I think it is horrible.
It is probably a fish who doesn't like to fold pairs and to automatically give advice of barreling this texture (which is not something new and unknown) vs such player is almost as bad as villain's play.

Yea lebowski he is just a massive fish, he holds no relevant blockers to what hero is repping here

sure he def seems fishy and the overall play is terrible regardless of the level of fishyness
Idk why it's so terrible when someone chimes in about how this specific hand is great to barel this texture (even after misreading the hand) though
Who cares if it doesn't apply vs a recreational or if you know it already, or if it's info that could be misapplied, next time you could read something that you hadn't thought of.

Discussions tend to shut down when ego gets in the way and while many enjoy the raging (like in the other hand), I think the lasting result of such behavior is that nobody will ever post HHs or advice after a while (it's fun with others but not when you are the one inside the drama)

I've been in LP for so long, that it would be almost uncharacteristic for the forum if someone didn't want to show him massive balls in all threads. You shouldn't get too hyped about it, different people express opinions differently, ignore the ego part of the posts as they only hurt the original poster anyway in the long run and focus on the part that makes sense. We all act out of ego at some point, but then again its a time and effort waste to point that out each time. Would be like trying to save every homeless kitty or stray dog. People usually realize later on that the tone wasn't really helpful for anyone and/or if what they said was out of hand.

Blizzy's post s fine except his passive aggressive tone designed to imply alpha maleness/ intellectual highground or whatever. Who cares though, I do that all the time too. Its the internet

i drop the ego when posting here pretty much, doesnt serve myself or others. got enough drama elsewhere to not need it here

Villian needs a good plo hand like 4 queens to pull this off I think.
