(note: river is 171 into 94)

the main problem i see with this play is that we're not gonna have many bluffs when we take this line (maybe some Ace or King highs? underboats perhaps? JTc? random cards like 75c?)

bet 3EUR on flop.

turn is ok ... but river ... hes either x/f cuz he has nothing, or x/jamming cuz he has quads. its not like hes x/minraising JJ on the turn .....check back river.

People don't bluff nearly enough those spots to be doing this vs reg. You know this, He knows this and Marshall s absolutely right

For this reason I think quads usually bet river (also who c/r bluffs this river so makes more sense to bet) if he is decent and thinks the same of you. His range is still mostly quads/air(or at least a hand that c/folds) though and there just isn't much value in a bet. A real small bet when he looks like he is giving up may get some crying calls and actually be the best way to play ur 8x here too anyways; gets more value from a weak range and allows him to bluff again potentially.
