Sweet big O hand lol. I bet a good player can open this here profitably because of the suited ace but yea not the best hand

No, our hand is top 65% 6handed, it's complete trash. Hu it's good enough but you play nearly everything hu. You'd also defend from the bb vs an LP open but you should do that with most things as well.

Yea that's what I'm saying I agree. Still think sauce could open in hero's spot in this game and make money. In plo being the 36th percentile hand vs the 65th percentile hand is actually going to be very little due to how close equities run in the middle (and in general)

And I'm not opening this in ep but it's not exactly trash. 333A is trash, 22A9r, those are trash with just about zero playability. This hand makes some straights and nut flushes, and makes just as much 2pair/trips as any other 4 different cards

I play primarily heads up so maybe I just have some weird affinity for this hand because it makes hands that tend to get paid

Well yeah, but that's a moot point because Sauce could make money with any hand in PLO5.

Our hand has 42% EV against a top 15% open range, which for PLO5 is probably a bit on the high side. We have no money invested. There's absolutely no reason to play our hand. It is relatively speaking, as I was saying, trash.
