Bad shove I think.. Was a bit tilty from other tables. Looking back at this hand though, should I have just called flop and observe turn? or should I have re-raise on the flop (smaller than shoving)? I know I had tons of outs on the flop.

Villain plays 36/22 with 0.8 AGG.

i think shoving here is not good because you'll just never be bluffing. too many hands have too much equity to fold given these stacks, so when you shove it's always gonna be 2pair+ or hands with as much equity.

i'm not sure i would even have a 3bet range on this board vs his minraise, since i'm gonna be calling with so much (pretty much any pair, any draw) that i might as well put all my strong hands into that calling range and slowplay them. i'm not sure if this is exploitable

also, i think villain's minraise is very bad because the price he gives on such a wet board while OOP is just asking to get floated by everything. that means he can't have many pure bluffs or marginal pairs, because u'll never be folding any of ur hands with equity, and a lot of ur hands have equity. so he ends up creating a range where he has a top pair+ while allowing u to draw against him for a great price and with position

both calling and shoving are clearly +ev

lighter villain is the better shove gets (you might even have FE although that may be wishful thinking.

Realistically he doesn't fold after m/r so take your great odds and draw. You can easily call just about any turn bet too so you don't have to worry about not seeing a river if don't go ai on flop. Call makes better use of position. From a balance standpoint i have many hands I will want to peel with on the flop so adding this hand strengthens that range. I don't see myself bluff 3betting this flop much; if i want to bluff here (bluffrange) i will flat gutshots and bet when checked to on turn or make some other post turn play. So i like call.

when i play(ed) spewier and more aggro though my range was more like this. 3b jam all 8 out straight draws and all Fds pretty much, 3b jam AK+ (AA,2p,sets), maybe some worse kings if tilted, then all i would call the flop raise with would be AQcc, some slowplayed sets, and trash bluffcatchers that i should probably just be folding (Qx and worse)
