Really, There are certain board textures you can bet even 1/3 pots of, 1/2, full, whatever. If your hand is vulnerable, you bet more. If you're solid, you can make a solid more bit of coin betting like a retarded chimp.
This flop is one you should be betting strongly. qj, ss, they'll all pay you off (or beat you). Charge them. Charge them hard. Everyone pays... even at the highest stakes, people love draws. So charge them hard.
River? What DID you beat? you did beat kq. kj. qj. erm. Yeah. Minus the diamonds. That's not quite the worst river card (imo, 9 of diamonds) but it's pretty fucking bad.
