hes beating fiddy by a good winrate
dude had 2 raise sizes pre, 2bb and 3bb on both co and bu and I saw him raise J9o 2bb before
so I always 3b him when he 2bb raised guess he caught up to that and started 2bb with stuff like this
oh well can't complain innit

maybes ist just me but multiple raise sizing openers seem unnecessary

Nah I use it a ton myself. When there's bad people and multitablers behind me that is - when a reg catches on and I'm too slow to adapt it suck rly bad tho.

Galfond suggested this'll be the way forward in high level hu matches - splitting ranges by multiple sizings. I'm pretty sure Jungleman does that already but it's complicated as hell to actually workout those ranges and not just click buttons

yeah i could see it being more relevant in HU

still, i'm skeptical about how different it is from having just 1 sizing. especially in 6max, 2xing and 3xing seem so similar to the point where it's negligible. sure we can have a wider range with a 2x range but we're also giving the opponent better odds to call. are we trying to exploit our opponent's lack of adaptation to certain sizings? perhaps as a default we're putting more post-flop playable hands in our 2x range and bad ace/king highs in our 3x?

It's great against people that have inelastic ranges preflop and don't change them enough based on your sizing and then don't punish you postflop.
Its not rocket science to know that raising smaller with weak hands and bigger with good ones is good if that's the case

and no I wouldn't put bad K hi in 3bb with people like that (Very common at micros btw)

with steals with bad hands you get better odds - like you need to take it down 57% with minr and 66.6% with 3bb for autoprofit - the difference is not negligible
and you still get to play large enough pots with stronger hands

However it's a fun thought Fira- if there's people that fold so much more vs a 3x than a 2x as to bridge the gap between the worse odds I guess yeah we could just 3x shit like K7o and 2x 56s :O

typically if someone has a preflop tendency i'd just change my standard sizing along with the whole range that goes with that sizing, instead of having multiple sizings. like, if they're folding too often i'd minraise always, or if they're calling too much i'd 3x+ with a tighter range
