New challenge: don't look at cashier/br until the end of the month when bills are due - I have literally no clue where I'm at this week since I didn't look and it was swingy
I'm not rly moving down from the limit even if I bust - could get staked or re-grind easily. Guess it'll hurt me in terms of knowing when to move up but whatever, I've been playing+running badly anyway doubt I lose much EV by staying for 9 days.

Are there any real downsides to not knowing your results?

If you don't look at ur cashier then ur not really managing ur roll..

The real question is "how would I benefit from not looking at my roll daily?"

longple: ur missing the point! this is an attempt to get away from the bumhuntmentality!

well that's obvious: I stop being results oriented

like knowing if ur up or down for the day/week is not gonna make you play better right? So where does it help? Fosucing on results just takes away brain space/impacts your emotions where all really needed to change the results is actually focusing on making the most ev decision every hand without emotion

Like when it got to the stage where I purposefully filtered to the start of the downswing just to feel like a martyr and every suckout made me throw my mouse I knew I had to change something, and it's so good so far I might just do it permanently

It will all come down to personal preference and the only way to find out is by testing it out for yourself.

Peeps will give you feed back based on what they think is best, but you will never know for yourself unless you try it.

Test it out and see if it makes any significant changes to the way you play bro.

how else do you get almost 5 buyins deep nowadays

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time
