Not to mention the fact that he let the time run down to almost 0 before calling

Mebbe he thought you had a straight! Fairly moneyhating line though. I mean what was that meant to accomplish. I mean if he had to think of calling with top set, you'd think he'd fold top pair there. I think valuewise, that's not the smartest move. You managed to get $4 in when ahead and $46 when behind, which i think is pretty remarkable ;P

Anyone who doesn't go broke here is bad at poker. Considering this is 100NL, he could easily have AQ/AK here, and people can't fold top pair at these levels.
