it shouldnt really matter; nothing that has enough equity to overtake your hand would ever fold to the turn jam anyways.

but shoving is better because if he has 25 (for example applies to similar hands) he will always stack on the turn but if the river bricks he will fold to your lead and you obviously don't want to check and let him check back.
