I think that our perceived range is so weak that doesn't make sense to villain to overbets for value on the river
because we rep a really medium SD value hand, he might be trying to make us fold to a split imo
just checking if my thought process is right |

it's just kind of a leveling spot, your range doesn't have to be capped but he might see it that way. if he gives up lots of turns and gets floated a lot it makes sense that he c/r's turn with strong hands a decent amount and whiffed it this time, could also be a bluff/split-bluff like you mentioned. i'm def calling river, not shocked if i'm beat though. |
