didn't think he would play trips this way, thought he was on a draw or something like that.

this is really really bad

a bit more constructivism? My analyse post flop was that he wouldn't x/r trips. I thought he'd mainly x/r draws here or just random bluffs, if I'd get it in I thought I had atleast 30% equity.

it was not the original 3better that x/red here, it was the fish that x/red. he's playing VPIP: 35, PFR: 10, 3B: 3, AF: 2.2, Hands: 941

ah sorry, then forget what i was saying.

Its still a spew though.because that player wont lay his pp or strong draw after check raising you.You have best case scenario a flip and more often then not are drawing dead or <30%.

what about the preflop play? maybe 4betting the original 3better wouldve been a better play since hes gonna be isoing the fish pretty wide.

Generally with AK i prefer the 4bet here. The reg 3 betting seems to have a wider than normal 3bet range and the fish minraise from EP must not necessarily be strong given his stats.

4bet or c/f flop

aernout   Netherlands. Feb 18 2013 16:30. Posts 161

why c/f flop? we're only really cbetting here against the fish since the only thing the reg might check otf would be AA.
