trying to learn PLo
i 3bet pre because i feel my hand is too weak to flat on the BB
on the flop i miss completely, i cant bet because it hits them too much and i have no equity.
on the turn i pick equity and feel i can rep AAxx/KKxx and AQxx type hands. My sizing is a bit small i think, should be $7.50
on the river, meh cant rep overpair anymore, could rep Q but people dont fold, he is prob checking back a lot of weak Qx on flop
is this correct? |

I feel this applies to nlhe far more than it does PLO because in nlhe you prefer to 3bet with that weaker hand because you have some fold equity pre flop. In Omaha making the same play you are putting in more money with a worse hand OOP while almost surely getting called.
This hand can flop pretty well it definitely has enough equity vs villain to profitably call a m/r in the bb you are getting 3:1 need 25% equity and probably have like 45-47%. |
