I have league in one of my fantasy leagues and it's been pretty rough last week. luckily they don't have any other options. I also have aardsma waiting to get healthy but who knows when that will be.

I live 10 minutes from downtown seattle and go to mariners games many times per year. I think we should trade felix lol. Its our only chance to be decent in ~3 years. Us doing decently this early in the season and being close to .500 only hurts us long term and stops us from making the drastic changes we need to make. That being said, I am glad that it has been kind of entertaining to watch so far this year. Last year was not fun at all to watch and I had 8 games left on my 16 game plan and didn't go to any of the final 8.

yah because the Mariners do a good job drafting with high draft picks. One other thing I like to bitch about is how they drafted Morrow instead of Lincecum.
But on a non, retrospect is 20/20 perspective, what does trading Felix accomplish? Feels like given the type of ballpark they have, pitching (and I guess defense) is key.

Mariners have decent pitching and decent defense already. Our hittine is just so atrocious it has a snowball effect on our game as a whole. Hopefully smoak continues the trend he is on, would be a great steal for half a season of cliff lee.

at least it was 5-0 going into the 9th tonight, no chance for League to blow a save. Now 3 days accident free!
