It is amazing how quickly life can change. In the blink of an eye it can go from good to bad, and bad to good as well. I was fairly nervous about moving to school, but as of right now I can not wait to get away. I will be attending Humboldt State this fall so if anyone on here goes there or is going there maybe we can kick it have a beer when i move up there. I do not really know how what to do with these next five months, but one thing I can say for sure right now is that I am glad I have the opportunity to get away. Also Trying to turn into an optimist as opposed to the permanent realist i have been. So lets go school? .. weird

Too bad you going to Humboldt. I don't know much about it tbh, but we need more poker players for sure at CSUSM

What does a 'realist' mean anyway everyone will see reality and evaluate impact and probability of things happening differently.
Most people overvalue the impact that things like failing an exam, moving out, breaking up or changing something massively especially when measured by impact on happiness and fearing that stuff is completely irrational... How many of these failures or changes actually still mean something 6 months later?

Have a smashing time, I looked at some pics from Humboldt and it seems way better than my uni (with sick fragmented campuses with no proper union. And no proper beach ;o)
