Some people seem to have really overreacted by bashing loco over what he wrote, I asked him to make that blogpost so it might maybe serve as a wake up call to newblish and at the same time done in a funny manner...

It's pretty obvious he has never ran really bad, just your standard losing sessions and it was getting very very irritating to see him talk about how he was the unluckiest player in the world and bla bla bla

so yeah there wasn't really any genuine hate on our part toward him, just annoyance and we thought the "I'm calling 100% of his 3bets now" followed by "doing nothing wrong" was pretty fuckin hilarious and worth a post lol

I might come off as a douche but some people really need a serious reality check as to what winrate you can really substain, when you're winning at 9ptbb/100 over 200k hands you're not running extremely bad, you're running just fine, just deal with the swings along the way... you need to not give a shit over wins/losses as long as you're REALLY doing nothing wrong.

anyway just felt Loco didn't deserve all that bashing as I'm quite responsible for this

"When you're winning at 9ptbb/100 over 200k hands you're not running extremely bad, you're running just fine."

So lets say you analyzed that players 200k hands. You found that over 200k hands in all pots where the player invested 50bb's or more they ran X$ under EV. If they had won their equity in those big pots they would have won at 16ptbb/100 over those 200k hands.

That player described in the above short passage ran:
A) Good
B) Normal
C) Bad

The answer is clearly C. It's a calculation based on math. Win-rate is irrelevant when considering whether someone runs good or bad. If you're winning well below your equity in large pots your running bad. It's just math?

Fayth, you know i have a lot of respect for you and your game. I really dont think loco deserves any sort of sympathy for all the people who are "bashing" him for his post though despite what you just wrote. It seriously was uncalled for. I told him in my response that i've made lots of improvements with "whining" or whatever you want to call it and that one recent flareup this month(in the midst of a 16 Bi downswing - which is mostly courtesy of the merge network and cant be seen on PTR) was only ONE night and only 1-2 hands and an msn convo with engage. Loco's post draws from all sorts of things that happened well over a year ago when i wasn't even a solid nl100 regular yet and when poker was still fairly novel to me. He therefore in no way has any right to write such a biased/judgemental/sarcactic/bullshit blog about me like that. He deserves everything that they said to him, which frankly wasn't even that much to be honest.

If loco wants to say something to me, i suggest he say it to me face either in person or by PM. This is probably the most childish thing i have ever seen him do since making a profile here on LP. To claim that he has never once been on tilt and felt some of the feelings i have had(as a growing player) throughout his poker career is basically the most ridiculous shit i have ever heard in my life. He is a hypocrit and needs to stop being self centered when it comes to what he says on LP(in general, not in particular with regard to his blog post). Loco too has his own problems to deal with and he should seriously address them. That being said, like i wrote in my response.. my life is fine and i love every second of it. Loco made some really far fetched and outright harsh statements about my life that had no real basis whatsoever for posting and did so to hundreds of people that dont know me or who i am.

I have absolutely no sympathy for him and for some of the posts people have wrote in my defense(which again weren't even that many). Nobody needs a fucking "reality" check here. Why dont you come meet me in person and see what kind of person i really am? Who are you(or him) to think you have the right to pass this sort of judgement on me? If you think that i don't value the things that i have in my life and think that i in some way believe life to be unfair towards me then you are sadly mistaken. I have a few poker friends who post here and know that for a fact(bejamin is one) if you would like them to testify on my behalf.

If anyone didn't deserve all of this shit that happened today as a result of loco's blogs it's me. I shouldn't need to have to defend myself against any of you when you have no clue about how i look at poker/life. Loco deserves 0 sympathy for his blog, theres not much else to that. You are defending loco just like my friend bejamin is defending me. This all could have been avoided though if loco was smart enough to both mind his own business and second to not be a judgemental prick when he knows basically nothing about the person he is attacking.

btw - again, i really hope you dont actaully think i meant "i call 100% 3bets" against anyone. Same shit with how "poker is rigged". Take some shit i say with a grain of salt, if you actually believe that things i say are exactly what they are word for word like that.. then thats a huge shame.

Anyway, again - fayth i have respect for you and your game. I do not pass judgement on you and i never will. I hope you can try to understand me a little bit more in the future and that things are not as they may seem at first glance based on what you see on some internet community poker site.

Thanks for your understanding.

Nice post Newblish. Anyone who isn't retarded would realize that even if Loco's post was completely true, he is still a massive douche as that post helps absolutely no one, just creates drama which generally slows down progress - in this case you both had to waste a lot of time writing huge posts that achieved absolutely nothing. There are so many ways that he could've better used his time.

I hope Loco realizes his mistakes, apologizes and then you can both get along and improve your weaknesses both in life and ingame.

just wnat to say a little something
dont forget you canot win every pot
losing IS part of the game
we canot cry because we should run 16 bb/100 when we run 10 bb
this is not running bad
losing is part of the game thats all
some dyas ur gona run hotter than usual, some days its gona be worse... saying i should be up 1 million is dumb, you forget all the time you sucked out on others
my english sux so i cant do paragraphs likes you guys do
lol
(for once sucking at english is usefull, that way i dont get into the drama too much, hehehe)

'

ditto
Nobody likes a whiner who bitches about random stuff cause he has no emotional control or sense of reality. poker relater or not, doesn't matter

Benjamin, what about looking at the equity in ALL his spots? like seriously, you can't calculate shit about "true" equity. you can only make estimated (read: random) guesses to feed Newblishes whinebot.

Just man up and don't get too upset about it. Nothing good comes from whining so wake up.
This is coming from a bystander.

You do realise that by making this post you become a whining bitch yourself right? You're whining about people whining about people whining, well played sir. Locos post was hilarious? Holy shit your standards are low.

no, you are wrong, he is running bad on equity however when you are winning at 9ptbb/100 you are running good (getting cards, lucky timing etc), unless you believe his true winrate should be like 20ptbb/100 haha
