so i wake up today and try to bring back my computer from sleep and.... nothing. my monitor wont display. i checked the plugs. unplugged and replugged. restarted computer etc....

i hook up my old 19 inch and its working fine.

my old monitor is a 28 inch hannspree. it's less than 2 years old. it turns on and everything but it is just blank and displays nothing.

anyone have similar problems and any solution?

my right monitor is starting to fail since like a week ago, it wouldnt display i had to turn it off and off a few times and it worked... but its getting worse now i have to do it like 25 times lol... however if it never shuts downs it works fine for days (maybe lacking some brightness), i guess its something related to the energy source.

Maybe try to turn i on/off like mine

Pm bober1 I'm 99% sure he had this same problem and it requires getting a new part for the monitor

I had a problem like this a while ago and from googling it, the likely problem seems to be the power inverter. I'm not super tech savvy though so I don't know for sure if that is right.

this happened to me a while ago and i had just hit the analog button or something without realizing it. probably not the case but figured id throw it out there anyways

i know a few tips and tricks for samsung, they have heating up problems so you hit power, it makes like a winey noise for a while, but no power on, then you hit power again and the green light blinks, then you kinda just give it time and it starts up, or drag a window into it to kinda wake it up and it will come back.. i really think this is a single problem with my monitor and wont help fix yours 2 much, but if anyone elese has a samsung doing weird things this could help it out.
