I'm buying the 27" monitor from the FTP store, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005127 . Not bad, getting it for effectively $168 vs the $389 retail price. I have a 24 or 26", can't remember, really quality monitor at home and I'm not sure if I am going to go akimbo monitorz or if I will give it to my little sister or momma. Either way, it'll be nice to have a big, fat, quality monitor for when I get back to grinding. And it'll be an even more insane move up from my 13" laptop monitor LULZ!

I also picked off the $300 cash bonus from the Iron Man store. The transaction went through and the medals were removed from my account, but no cash was deposited into my account, and if its delivered as a bonus there is nothing new in my Bonus Account tab.. Anyone know how these ironman bonuses work?

After I figure out what's going on with the Ironman cash, I am going to put through my order for the monitor and then withdraw my BR and put it on UB. It is the last US site that I know of where I haven't cleared the deposit bonus.. I figure it will help me get everything back in order to have an effective ~50% rb or whatever for a month. Really would like to experience some real bankroll growth..

I haven't done the calculations but hopefully the 30% UB vs 27% FTP rakeback will help with the extra jackpot rake (almost only jackpot tables run on UB).. Plus maybe I will hit the BBJ ;P

the bbj rake is pretty murderous from what i remember.

and from what it sounds like you dont really need a new monitor 27 inch gets the same res as 26 inch i think

i was thinking about getting a 27" from the store as well and saving up points for it, but then I saw the resolution on it was just 1920x1200 (or maybe even 1920x1080)!! not too much point in upgrading from a 1600x1200 screen to 1920x1140ish, so I'm getting a 30" instead (2560x1600).

yeah sucks that FTP has no jackpots

tbh I'm not really sure how much I need higher resolution.. I mean, I don't use small windows or anything where that'd help. I wouldn't be able to see them anyway o_O?

it depends what you use it for... i'd just love to have nicer looking tables when i'm 9 tabling some and i'd like to run sick resolutions with games

for playing full hd movies and normal 4-tabling this 27" is def. fine
