I'm definitely with you on the awesomeness of audiobooks.
Although these are books I read rather than listened to, if you're into self improvement I dont think you can go wrong with these.
Any Dale Carnegie book (How to Win friends and Influence People, How to Stop Worrying and Start Living, etc)
7 Habits of Highly Effective People
The Magic of Thinking Big

Read these over the past few months, all pretty good if you're into language or medical history.
How Doctor's Think -JP Groopman
Brother Surgeons -Garet Rogers
The Knife Man - Wendy Moore
The Surgeon of Crowthorne -Simon Winchester
They're all non-fiction stuff I read to prepare for an exam but really interesting nonetheless. If you have trouble finding them on audiobook give me a PM I might have a few on my other PC |

"Many years later, as he faced the firing squad, Colonel Aureliano Buendía was to remember that distant afternoon when his father took him to discover ice."
Read real literature kids. |

I'd reccomend the Sherlock Holmes books, can't remember who they are read by but many of them are short and sweet (about 2 hours) and some others are longer but outstanding (The Valley of Fear). |

Sherlock Holmes is great, you start reading and it's like you're in an armchair near the fireplace smoking a pipe on a rainy London afternoon, and someone knocks your door and tells a baffling mystery story that just happened to him. |
