Browsing through your hand histories makes me wonder that you might not be aware these games are possibly play money. Have you ever tried to cash out? - Kapol | |

I play 13tables of 18man, and i think it has happened 3 times out of my 400ish sample that I've only cashed in <1. But you'll have times when you cash in 7+ and win 3-5 out of 'em so it evens out if you know how to play 'em. Just try to ignore short term results and focus on improving. You shouldn't get mad at your friend variance, it will only hurt your game. You've probably heard this a million times before, but hearing it one more time won't hurt. |

lol he's heard it two million times, you think that's going to change his mentality?
Seriously nothing tilts me more about this site, then watching fish complain or brag about 1 day of results...this has been like 4 days in a row of this |

@ zep
lol the last 4 days were just for statistical purpouse
u really think i make bragposts about winning a few dollard here and there at microstakes ?
i have been at NL200
and now i dumb down at the microest stakes playing 6$ sngs for the most part ...
my poker career is not even close to being bragable ...
The fact that i will solely stick to 18mans from now on is that i feel terrible playing the 45ones.
I am well aware that 8 is not even close to a sample...
with the 18mans i was breakeven after ~45 of them and then achieved a ROI of 18+ after 175of them.
But what i realized is that i hate almost everything about the 45man ones.
Bigger variance , more flips , take longer to fill , are 8 handed most of the time ... take longer to play ... i dont feel comfortable.
thats why i call it a desaster.
however in the 18man ones i feel really really comfortable and know exactly what to do |

LOL you felt the need to write a new blog post everyday for the past week updating on how you have ran in the short run for...statistical purposes????
Maybe it's because i have a limited understanding of statistics and you have none-but the short run really doesn't matter. 175 SNGs is such a small sample, that the results shouldn't even allow you to believe that your ROI is the norm. I think this would be common knowledge to a nl200 reg, but apparently not.
I absolutely hate 45-mans as well. It isn't because i played 8 of them, and i certainly wouldn't write an update after 8 of them claiming they have more flips and variance. They're just different, some people have found a nitch with them, others with 90-mans, and others such as yourself with 18-mans. Just stick to whatever you feel most comfortable with and stop updating every 30 tournaments with new feelings about how you ran and played. |

@ ZEP
u are just interpreting way too much stuff in my posts ....
Where did i ever say that my current 18man ROI is longterm material ? ( I didnt is the answer)
I also did mention that i hate the 45mans for different reasons ( I never mentioned its because i run bad in 8 of them)
I only used the 175 game example that i am aware of what u say .... I was running bad at the 18mans aswell when i started out but nevertheless i love them since i feel control when playing
that 45 ones have more flips and higher variance is a fact ....
Dont u have better things to do than arguing just for the sake of arguing ? |
