i've been living with my gf for a while now and despite her really supporting me with poker she still cuts into poker time worse than all other factors by far.
of course she'll get rid of a ton of stress too, just make sure you consider that.

hahaha, this blog is ridiculous. I can't believe you're actually trying to calculate this, and put an exact number on the EV you get from sex.

In all honestly you should probably try living with her for a while WITHOUT having sex with her, or dating her. Just be normal roomates, and see how you like it. Then if you like living with her you can move towards having that kind of relationship with her. Having someone move across the country to live with you just seems like a huge drama bomb waiting to happen, if you rush things.

id say a key factor you're missing is that what women say is mostly worthless. it's what they do or in this case don't do that matters.

can you really trust her to keep her promise? would you be ready to throw her out or something if she just slacks off if she thinks she can get away with it?

I quit reading right there. This is an obvious indicator that you shouldn't live together. You do not have sex with room mates. If you want to be a good person and give her an opportunity to get out of there do it genuinely. No strings attached.

Anyways girls aren't auto clean. I used to live with a couple girls back in my fresh/soph years in college and they were dirty and lazy. One girl was a spoiled ho bitch, and when I went to vacume under the living room couches, found a bloody ass panty wtf.
I'd say let her move in though. Bj's/Hj's ftw. Cooking/cleaning aspect is irrelevant because everyone should learn how to cook sooner or later and cleaning is easy when you don't have dirty habbits in the first place.

I'd say 1 in 1000 women would be worth living with. If she fits that category, then put your chips in the middle. If she's not, it's not even close.

My gf also really supports my poker and she can even stand badbeattalking and me being tilted. But the amount of pokertime you lose just by hanging around together and doing boyfriend/girlfriend stuff is ridiculous

For me GF is +++EV.
I'd be going to clubs, being sad and alone in my poker cave.

Now I have someone who helps me to take my mind off poker and give me a reality check. The dinner and lunchboxes are awesome, as is clean flat (I am extremely messy when I live alone), and my GF is my best friend by far
Its pretty great when you have them 6 hour sessions to go for a hug on your scheduled breaks or tourney breaks.

And the stress thing... Ye I agree, but hey... I am a poker player for Christ's sakes, it's my number one priority to handle stress and emotion, and having a temperamental GF is an AWESOME PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY. Too awesome at times, but that's my fail and mine alone.

Although I must say that I am probably a really horrible boyfriend... We rarely go out, just within 1km radius from our flat and like once per week, I never cook, rarely shop, clean or buy her stuff just for the sake of it. On top of that I am fat, work most day and play poker when I come from work or browse LP.
