I got ITM in yesterdays daily dollar. I was really high on my pain medication for my back and some weed so I ended up passing out with 8000 chips in around 900th place. I wake up to find that I landed somewhere in 538th  NOT BAD. WISH I wouldn't have passed out though, I prob woulda lost anyways but maybe coulda gotten farther into the bubble. This tourney is hardcore. I don't remember what time I passed out at,(Maybe around 12-1.)
538 out of 10000 people, isn't to shabby

thank you long ple i'm trying real hard man. i have been taking a real liking to mtt tournament style play. I seem to loose to much money playing cash games.Sit and goes are also a curse for me. I get sloppy and just stop caring after one bad beat. maybe its because i dont know how to play em at all. but in mtt tournament games i feel more confertable,There is a clear goal to hit, and i try to get as close as possible in that goal, and its much easier for me. but i will keep trying and hopefully bring something more impressive sometime in the future! |

Play on playchips or something till you're good enough to win there, otherwise you're basically inviting all the other players at the table to a bonfire made of your hard-earned cash. Not trying to be rude, this is solid advice because when I started I lost money too! |

Your right man. I dont think I will be playing cash games for a long time... I am going to stick to my low buying MTTs, for now and keep trying to improve my game. Ace recomended me a really good book called harringtons holdem. I started reading that yesterday and hopefully I take something out of it. |

as gadget said "hitting the bubble" would imply to most you went out 1 place before the money, or close to it, lol. |
