Sup guys,
How many hours do you think is the best to grind lets say 6-8 tables straight with out taking a break???
For me it seems that I can play the best about the first 2-3 h straight. It feels that after 3h i'm definetly not playing my A game any more.
Then a break and more 2-3 h of that solid grinding that we all love to do =).
I am talking about Cash game btw.
Opinions ??? comments ???

varies and is entirely dependent on your own abilities
everyone is different. the more you know yourself the better you will be. |

Yeah I think it's totally dependent on what kind of person you are.
I know for myself I start playing a bit worse after just an hour.
It's probably possible to train yourself into staying more attentive, but I'm not sure how. |

I would do something like: 2 hours, 20 minute break, 2 hours etc. |

IMO, 2-3 hour sessions with 15-30 min breaks between seems optimal. It's a bad habit health wise to be playing 4+hrs at a time. Should always take some breaks for stretching and then eat a snack/drink etc. Though there are times when there's people spewing at ur tables and you don't want to leave but in general I think 2-3 hours (4 hour max) sessions seems fine. |

what you can do is like I dunno start with 1 table. get reads and play well for like 1 hour. Then add another table so that makes 2 tables in 1 hour. Train until you can do that for like 2 - 3 hours or whatever you want and play well. Then add another table but take off 1 hour or so. Then work that up. Then repeat until you can do like how many tables you want in the time frame you want while playing well.
I think it really is just training your mind. |
