try getting an aircard from a cellphone service-- In my work I use them a lot because hotel internet blows and isn't fast enough to do anything.

those aircards work well? I didn't expect it to perform very well tbh


can I use one aircard subscription/modem on 2 computers? ie when I'm at my desktop I use the aircard there, laptop I use it there

yeah, get a USB one and you can use it in any pc.

as long as you have a decent cell phone signal they were pretty reliable/fast enough to play hon etc for me on the road. Wayyyyyy better than random internet connections.

I'm pretty sure, although not positive, that the cell phone company will let you take it home and try it out to make sure that it works.

iam working for a mobilecommunications company and one thing i can tell you is, that most usb ones got a very bad antenna, try to get one usb one WITH an external antenna connector, so u rly make sure ur connection is good! or get a netbook with integrated umts modem, they got one of the best antennas on the market for this kind!

yea mezmerizeplz had one of these in vegas 2 years ago and we couldnt even really get it to work at all.. it was very intermittent and really wasnt pokerable... night where u at that you dont have internet? are u still roaming around vegas?

dicking around vegas, I actually have a fairly nice room rented for a good price, I could stay in vegas but I'm going to go back to orlando soon until I feel like being in vegas again (next summer prolly)

so I shouldn't actually have this internet problem for much longer.. but if I'm flying around the US a lot just for fun or whatever I might still need one.. aghhhh

i got sick bored of playing poker all day and wanted to travel anyway, so why not get paid sick money and do it at the same time.

I'm back at it now though...
