I have no idea anymore.

2300bbs under EV, and that discounts the 2 outers etc that I've been running into (after putting in 70% of stack) seeming nonstop either...

Nearly the same story except only like 1/4th the amount. I won at nl50 for like 200kish hands or so.. cashed out a little and am back to nl25, and BAMMMMM doooooooooooooomswitched. 4 sessions in a row i lose vs a random 1 table fishes set vs my overpair within the first 10 hands. I also havent WON on a weekend in about 3 months. I really wish the cashout doomswitch wasn't true as im starting to believe in it. I've taken breaks as well, reviewing hands and shit and nothing helps.

ugh honestly I've shaken it off, I prolly have developed tilt problems through all of this but I'm confident in my game and know for a fact that I can win at both nl50 and nl100 even being the mediocre at best player that I am.

Just gotta keep my head on straight... which I unforutanely can't say I've done more than like 80% of the time :

Yeah. I mean I really don't care too much about bad beats or coolers, i just have SOOO little confidence in my game atm. I mean I don't think I'm good at this game at all. I played like probably 600k or 700k hands at full ring and I just feel like a robot. I'm JUST starting to switch to 6max after forever at full ring. I did decent at FR building an average roll for it but I wish I would have started and stayed at 6m. Also I obv cant afford a 6m coach atm as I cashed out nearly half my roll due to depression in my game + wanting to just go on a vacation and forget about running like shit.

Was also the FIRST time I've EVER cashed out during my "career" after starting from $5. Biggest downswing of my life (about $1k drop from 2800) and just feeling like I've got NOTHING from poker except knowing random math concepts and seeing a number on my computer screen grow. Hopefully now that I'm switching to 6m I'll actually learn more from this fucking game as well as increase my winrate.

Oh well mini rant over. Sincerely hope you start running better as I enjoy your posts + blog. GL sir

we seem to be in the same creaky boat atm BF

I fele the same way at times, and I usually remind myself that hey, I've met plenty of quality pple through this game, and at the very least it's more productive than grinding iccup hahaha

I think you need to get your red line to decline less. Im usually not a fan of analysing someones game trough a graph, but in general it looks like you dont handread enough and that you arent interested in enough pots when your range is much stronger than villains (even tough you have nothing). It might be that you call too much vs flop c-bets but are unwilling to double float --> you folding or hitting on turn. Or it might just be random card luck that made your redline decline.
Keep it up and you'll turn things around!

Yeah thats true. I have met a pretty good amount of cool/interesting people. I'm glad I don't grind iccup anymore at least. 3 seasons getting A- in 2v2 = wayyy more than enough for me. GL having to deal with the hell that is the iccup 2v2 channel for like 6 months. Makes east look like a playground.

And uptown, obviously move down to whatever lowest limit you rape and then increase it up limit by limit!

You play tight with super downward sloping red line = you are very vulnerable to bad card runs.

And I would very strongly recommend something that I am implementing:

LIMIT STOP LOSS

Whenever you lose x amount of bi's, instantly move down one limit ( got it at 10BI's) Still losing after 3k hands or so? Mown down ANOTHER limit. Repeat until you start crushing, even if it means going down to NL2.

When you start raping the lowest limit, move up to higher, rape it etc.
until you get back to your regular game.

BOOM you got your confidence back, and your BR didn't take too much pounding.

HERE IS WHAT YOU DO (aka one month back-on-track plan!):

Step 1: Take one week off poker. Clear your mind, don't think about it. One week won't change your poker career. Do you have a particularly free week to play poker? Fuck it, go hiking.

Step 2: Take one week going over hands in PokerTracker. This means you replay mid-small, mid, mid-big pots (both won and lost) with only your hole cards exposed and you replay them step by step. Every step of the way (so every time you press 'next action', the little forward arrow in the hand replayer), have a range for every player in the hand. Every time you get new info (bet, raise, etc.) readjust your ranges. Think EVERY STEP. Do this for 1-2hrs/day. Your ranges should progressively become more accurate.

What you should look for:
- ranges
- missed value bets
- missed value FOLDS (sooooo important, especially FR - folding is what earns you money)

Also review all the big hands you lost (~1 buyin+ loss, the all-ins). Any tilt?
Don't look at the ones you won, prolly just standard good setups (set vs. overpair, etc.)

Do this for one week (without ever playing).

Step 3: For two weeks, play with 2-4 tables and do the same thing. Never look at your cashier. Play 2 hrs MAX, you are doing this for relaxation. Always be relaxed.

You've now taken a month off from your regular grind and should have a new perspective on the game. Remember to eat healthy, get sleep, be relaxed and live a balanced life.

I'm trying this now as my graph looks pretty similar. Seems to be working - even after only a few k hands as more confidence already and the suckouts/coolers etc don't hurt as much so don't damage confidence when they keep happening etc. Good advice imo.
