So after my 40k hand session I slept for a few hours and had a friend come up to stay with me so I wouldn't have that happen again. It has proven to be very very +ev for me when he comes up and we both grind here and I really can't wait till we get out to San Diego in a few months in our grind house. Have been back on the upswing since then including a super sick heater today in a few sessions I played at 6max and full ring. Just seemed like I wasn't running bad like I was during that session and my KK vs QQ were holding up. Only played a few hands but am up around 16 BI for the day which brings my monthly total to a little bit over 9k.

I have been right around 9k for the month 3 times and they were all followed by 40BI downswings right after which has demoralized me a bunch each time but luckily I am staying focused and know I have to get to 10k and win all my prob bets. I would much rather win 8k then lose 8k obviously! About time to get to sleep now and wake up and hopefully can ship it. We are going to be using a 8BI stop loss for potential future sessions this month so I don't end up to far away from the goal.

Today

The month total, only 40BI below EV also

Thanks for reading, hopefully next post will be me shipping this!!

This guide I just Googled actually is pretty decent for someone who is considering playing more tables at their stakes. Although honestly I'm of the opinion that anything over 4-6 tables at least at 6M doesn't really allow you to get reads or learn and become a better player.

I honestly dont understand how u always have these gigantic swings .....

Like + 16BI in 2 K hands
or - 50BI in 20K hands
after that + 40 BI in 10 K hands

etc ...

When i run really really hot i made like 24BI in 9K hands ..... ( I believe that is my record for most BI won in a sample around 10K hands)
u seem to do +- 20BI in 10 K hands like every day ???

how is this possible ?

U see what i did there with A8 ? He 4 bets and there we go insta jam A8 : ---booooom -- . hahahaha ( Krantz)

He plays a higher variance style than you do - by that I mean he probably 3-bets and 4-bets more often than you do.

Or by learning and working your way up the stakes you could play 17k hands and make 100k like Fayth . I think 100K in way less hours > 24 tabling. That is just a matter of opinion though. The rakeback per hour is pretty significant as well if you 24 table and actually get very good at it.

I don't play with him at all so perhaps I should not have had an opinion on that one, but I mean what else could it be that would create such huge swings. At least in PLO the huge variance comes from players styles in 3-bet and 4-bet pots heh. Then again in PLO you get 4 cards and nobody ever folds a piece .

right ^^
if you are making 9k a month then your obviously good enough to still get reads it's just a slower process since your mass tabling
to me it all boils down to your best hourly within ur bankroll, and different strokes for different folks so w/e works

Nit it the fuck up to just get to the $10k for the month and stop. I assume you don't have to keep playing till the end of july if you make it early. Lock the win up imo.

Spitfiree   Bulgaria. Jul 26 2009 21:04. Posts 9634

In his 40k hand sess last blog he has 7.6% 3bet which is pretty normal if ur playing like 4-10 tables but 24 and still 7.6% is just sick

& yeah pls monthly EV graph pls

Didnt he say a lot of the variance just comes from gambling when he doesnt have time to focus on a hand? i.e. 4betting aipf with 67s

bye now

I believe this might be true for most people but for me i could really never play 4-6 tables unless they were for meaningful stakes to me. I feel like i can play 24 tables and still improve my play and get some reads on players. Obv I am going to miss a bunch but I have a really good memory regarding players/fish and I usually can take advatage of them well playing any amount of tables.
