Ye so I said its impossible to lose 10BI at NL50. IF I OMFG DON'T MULTITABLE

Well, I started running bad and I couldn't control myself. Again. I really feel like a super weak person, and my addictive/lazy personality always comes to the surface over and over and over again.

The most epic Suckout so far:
+ Show Spoiler +

Fish stacking me with retarded hands all over the place and 4x KK v AA last 2 days.

Rant
But Don't get me wrong, this is not a whine post. After the super brutal Doomswitch 2 months ago I don't think the cards can make me angry anymore and I know more than well how poker can be. Please don't think I am another TAGfish crying that cards are wrong.

This is an angry post regarding my personal failure, as I know that if I did stick with 3-4 tables I would be at least $250 above this result with my red line at 0 and a ton of extra dead money collected as I do so well when I 2-4 table.

Whats Next?
Well, this was just poker. On monday I am starting at my new Job, so Poker will be purely a hobby for me.

I didn't work for last 12 months and I must tell you that it sucked.
I need a regular schedule, contact with people and a general purpose in my life other that just grinding Poker and read LP ;o

After I start working (bought myself a new suit Yesterday ;o)I will sign up for the gym and keep myself hopefully busy, and I will finally be able to play poker only when I am at the peak of interest in it, and hopefully play only at 2-4 tables again.

Oh, and I HAVE to move to NL100 when I reach $2k again. It was a huge mistake I didn't as I don't have these urges when I play with 20BI.

You need to learn tilt control and anything more than 4-6 tables is pointless unless you're already crushing a stake. I had a day where I lost ~$600 at NL50 too. It sucks but I learned a lot from it. Get a stoploss too btw.

I have 3BI/session and 5BI per day.
I was within that, this spans over 2 days.

And I do crush the limit when I 2-5 table. But all the reasons why I crush it suddenly disappear when I increase the number as its the adjustments to each specific villain and marginal hands that allow me to do that......

I wish Stars had a Max no. of tables in the form of parental contro or sth, it would help me a ton ;o

If you don't have enough self control to only open a certain amount of tables I'm afraid poker is not for you.

This is the first I've ever heard of someone having an addiction to mass multi-tabling.

It's standard and it happens don't get to down on yourself. I was 16-24 tabling to mass grind toward SN but there's just so much more variance in that approach. After I had a session just like the one you just had I switched it up and went to 4-6 tables and it's so much easier, you see less hands but the players are so transparent that your winrate more then makes up for it plus there's a lot less short term variance imo. Just stick to what works you have SN so you don't need to mass hands just focus on your game and you'll get it back in no time.

i've been sticking to 4 tabling lately and its been paying off, but i've noticed that the only time i'll lose money at 25nl or 50nl is when i make the assumption that people are paying attention to my image so i'll 3bet light against a button raise after not 3betting for a long time and i'll get called and end up having to play a really marginal hand oop. So I think my edge at these stakes just comes from hand reading well and making good calls, and staying away from bluffing because other people really arent paying attention to their position or how strong a line i'm taking or how often im raising and from what position.

I also have a huge leak of checking to see how much i'm up/down during the session which is really really bad and can't break this habit but i really need to lol.

Trust me, I have been 9 tabling since the second week I started playing poker and I have always played at least 9 tables since then, with 18-20 tabling at peaks.

It has been just NL50 2 weeks ago where I started playing low amount of tables, and whenever I lose a couple hands I hit a switch in my head that tells me that I might as well come back to what I know.

The internal struggle is like trying to convince JoeIngram to 6 table, and I have spent 20x more time 9 tabling than playing few tables.

500,000 hands = 9 tables
10,000 hands - 2-4 tables.

But guess I should quit anyway.

what's wrong with mass tabling? there are a ton of big winners who do it.

Well Yeah, but my goal is not to be a big winner at low stakes, but to get to high stakes as fast as possible (As they are clearly the most fun), and the fastest way to do that is to play few tables and think hard about every hand (and also playing as open as possible)

But multi tabling is obviously the way to go for Pros, as you said there is a ton of people who are masstabling winners at low to medium stakes and they make a great living out of poker.

Its just not for me and I don't want to rely on poker like ever and thats why I want to force myself to play fewer tables and get better faster.

It's wrong if it hurts your winrate like it hurts Lemon's...why even ask the question?

Stick to what works!

My favourite line is Bet/Fold. I bet, you fold.

Almost every mid-high stakes person I've talked to suggests nothing more than 4-6 tables while you're still learning the game. It will take so much longer to identify leaks and get better if you're mass tabling because you will most definitely go into autopilot mode.
