after almost 700k hands in poker im used to some variance, but this i have never experianced. june was rough, july went in for the kill.

simply cannot win, roll now little over 17k and im fearing it won't stop.

sounds like your july is going like my june (if i sounded frustrated a while back when i was talking to you on one of the tables that's why heh). anyway you are clearly a winning player, and this kind of variance sucks but it does happen. that said it probably wouldn't hurt to take a couple days off or smth. you seem like a nice guy, gl turning it around.

edit - but on a side note why would you flat the flop here

Ugh, hang in there Marco. I am sure you'll turn things around. 17k is still plenty of roll to work with and no shame in dropping down a level for a preset amount of hands to regain confidence, like, grind 100NL for 3-4 days and ship some more easy buy-ins but most importantly regain that confidence.

This happened to me recently, hence why I'm so thinly rolled right now. It happens, just power through. Don't tilt. That's the ONLY thing you can do. Play less if you have to but make sure that you keep a positive mindset and DO NOT FUCKING TILT! Move down stakes if it helps.

once i halfed my roll playing nl100 and nl50, losing 20bi straight. sooner or later everyone meets a heavy downswing. I guess getting over it makes you a better poker player

im sorry i needed to whine a bit in my blog.

bigredhoss no hard feelings taken, about the hand -> certainly a drawy flop and most of the time i'm raising it, however i expected his range to be fairly wide in that spot and his equity to win very little plus the way the hand played out in relation with timing i expected him to be second barreling the turn some of the time. i've seen villian capable of doing this.

at least you have 17k with good management you could move down and build it back up.

come talk to us when you're at like 50$

i'm not hating but if you're worried when you got 17k in yoru roll + you being a solid player i'm sure you'll be fine.
