The poker room near me has it in the rules that the winner of a hand at showdown can ask to see the loser's hand. Is asking to see their hand just for information bad form? Would you ever do it just for information?
Yes I'm asking because a couple people did it last night. One guy sat down with a super small stack and on his first hand he gets it all in with AQ on Q high board and asks to see his opponent's mucked hand which was Q9.

I don't know much about the Etiquette for live games but online I'm sure there's noone who hasn't clicked the show last hand button to see what his opponent mucked at showdown. |

lol who cares if it's "bad form". do whatever's most +EV as long as it's not illegal or immoral
although i wouldn't overdo it, i'd def ask to look em up if the information is wayy too valuable to pass up |

You're allowed to do it but no one does because its considered a dick move. I've never tried it so i dont know how people would react |

it's bad etiquette according to the live donks, but I do it anyway just to piss people off, and for the info. |

Do it in important spots - but don't do it every time - when you are valuebetting 2pair or something u don't need to see that he called you with top pair. |
