Any insight on what should be my bluff frequency at nl50? So far im trying to bluff 30% of the time in what i think are good spots (trying to bluff decent players with what i think is a good board to do it) but it seems like im bleeding money ... Really want to add it to my game but unfortunatly it looks like u cant bluff a nl50 player no matter how much u raise ? Maybe i should stick to 5% or less to make it slightly profitable at this limit ? Tried it for 3 days now and i think ive lost 3-4 bis so far, think im gonna stop because the players at nl50 FR are either way too tight and show up with solid hands OR too careless and stationy to fold anything... Im a little bit confused.

Anyways, Almost rebuilded my BR for nl100 from 40$ that was left on my Ps account, hopefully will take agressive shots at nl 100 very soon. Other than that life is great folks, good luck at the tables.

bluff 100% of the time you think its a good spot unless you have reason to believe the person thinks you are bluffy

i.e. you used this philosophy last 2 hands with him and got folds :O

idk, i think this is fine, just try to play all the spots you see

i mean like you usually get regs scared call and check (or ip flat or whatever) with their overpair or tptk, and they fold to a bomb on the turn cause omg you have a set. putting in a 3rd barrel is usually really sketchy imo but, a checkraise bomb turn or IP raise bomb turn when checked to line is probably good against most regs on certain boards.

im not saying they are playing good but that is typical and infact if a reg does the checkraise or ip raise to me, i will probably do the exact same thing haha and flat the reraise and see if they keep bombing, since most of them are unwilling to follow through on the turn

thats if they actually barrel turns enough

the problem i've found when trying to take a flop call turn raise line is that alot of nits actually like.. take ridiculously bad pot control lines (YET unbluffable type of lines)

where they will like fire 1 bet with aces on Q high on flop, then check call turn and river

ive had that happen multiple times o_O like sometimes when i had kings i would be vbetting and they call with aces and im like WAT

although ive stopped flatting kings but yeah, definitely a LOT of nits only go for 1 street and then go for pot control when they have tptk or some dominant 1-pair type hand which makes this.. tough imo

but i know you probably know all this

Quit thinking so much about the numbers and just find spots that you think you can get away with. HUDs make ppl robots.....whichi i guess is a good thing for some of us.

You should bluff as much as you can stay under the radar. So against a multitabling reg, bluff more frequently. Against someone who plays only 4 tables bluff less frequently. Also dont bluff if your image took a big hit in a bad way, meaning you showed down a bluff before. Reverse applies for when you show down a legit hand. Just think about the metagame implications everytime you show down a hand.
