Live is generally hard. It's not easy.
Poker players could have great life, yet they face problems as everyone, and this is because LIFE IS HARD in general..
Yet, If I imagined myself as someone who can afford almost everything (wasnt this like that most of the time F4zi?) I would surely see myself as spoiled by life.
There are ups and downs, wonder how much money you had spent on things that you don't need (and im not talking about great apartament, clothes, etc, coz they improve how you feel, and make the life more enjoyable overall) but this bag etc? Did it seriously made you more happy? ;-) I'm pretty sure you wasted TOO much money on things like that..

I'm rooting for you, I believe everyone who wants to be succesfull on something uncommon has to suffer some bad shit, so they can be more mature and wise to not repeat things like that.

er i think i know what makes me happy you fuck - which is spending time doing activities, travelling. i like to spend my bankroll enjoying my life and making my life easier. not actually buying things. the only things i have bought since poker is a computer, watch n paid for this flat really no tvs or sound systems or cars or shit.

Yeah sell your man bag and watch and don't waste money on stupid shit like that in the future. Seriously, as poker players we always forget that our upswings will be countered by horrible downswings, and when we're heatering we end up spending more money than we should instead of thinking about how often 50% of that upswing profit will disappear in the next downswing. And it's really bad to spend money on stupid stuff that we don't need (like an insanely expensive bag) just cause we feel like we have so much right now. If we were thinking about the downswing to come and preparing for it, the bag wouldn't feel like a smart purchase at all. And then when you bought a reasonably priced bag and saved the rest of that money, when the downswing hit you wouldn't feel it as painfully.

I know that has been my problem in the past - my first huge heater I made 50 buy-ins in 1 month playing like 20k hands and thought I was gods gift to poker. I made a bunch of plans assuming I'd have similar results every month and then hit a 2 month downswing where I lost about half of those profits. I was very depressed at that point in time. So I know how you feel. Now downswings still suck but not as bad cause I prepare for them much better, and I don't splurge money just cause I'm on a heater. We all know you've got poker skills but you're on a bit of a roller coaster cause you have too much natural degen in you. If you learn to play within your roll and not throw money away I bet you'll be much happier in the long run.

lol what i meant is that all of his problems are material problems.. i dont mean to say that you cant have them, but as soon as you understand that being relatively broke for some time or having a bad session is not the end of the world and that the more you cry the more it gets bad because obviously it doesnt change anything, you actually start laughing at it and having another approach to these things.. just my personal feeling
