Cheeky bastard called my raise so I clearly didn't put him on this, but like 88-JJ.

anyone just flat the first or second raise?
The more I raise the more I am commited, and I was like uh oh I am pwned after the second reraise, but I had no choice due to pot odds.

u have no choice due to pot odds? first of all, this is 200 bb deep so be a bit more careful, you didn't give any reads, if this is one of those guys who is like 10/8 this is really bad, i dunno. this is NOT a standard stackoff.

the correct play should be to tank fold to his flop 3-bet.

I'd call his flop bet and probably calldown if he doesnt shove on river.I doubt your hand is good if you get it in on the flop...
As matter of fact I think you hit the bottom of his stacking range here since you have decent equity vs 2pair.I'd expect to see him having set 80%+ here...

Yeah guys, and the reads... he was your 50/10 standard NL5 player.

But even then, aces syndrome strikes gain I guess. So many times I look at simmilar hands and just laught at how people play aces like it was a straight flush made of two cards and than I do the same stupid thing.

just keep in mind basically the most overwhelming factor of why this is not .. at least a pretty damn strong consideration to shove, is how deep it is. u know, as deepness increases, how fucken careful you are goes up similarly

Wow rockman, I actually never considered the deepness really, as I usually am the one of the few who is deep at the table.

Risking 200bb with an overpair in a limit that I own 8BB/100 on average was even worse that I saw it on the table. I will just raise once and flat against donks next time, and see what he does on turn.

do not play that mechanically.

i started NL2 just limping PP 21 tables cbet HU and bet bet shove when i hit a set. raising TT+.

then i started adding other hands and stuff. NL2 -> NL5 was very easy, i moved up there in 3 days and then went to NL10. but at NL10 i was losing.

NL5>NL10 is a lot harder than NL10>NL25 becayse at NL2/NL5 ur just playing ur hands for VALUE, people always do stupid shit so it makes no sense to hand read.

But at NL10 u have to play poker. hand reading, bet sizing... thats why NL10 is harder. u cant just bot it and play by formula. i run at 6.6 ptbb on NL10 over 30k hands so its possible to win at NL10 FR
