Thanks to those of you who responded to my last blog entry - I did listen to that 'tilt' mp3 a couple of times and it was definitely a help. Every time I start a session I now state my intentions to myself - to make the best possible decisions. If I feel like my ability to do this is diminishing, I STOP.

I'm also moving back to nl10... lol at playing with 175 buyins. but i'm going to play until I make back the amount I lost at nl25 before moving back up.

sounds good i think the best advice at least to keep an untilted winrate is just to stop when you feel you aren't making quality decisions which can be influenced by exhaustion, stress/frustration, various substances, etc

of course, if doing this means you play like 5% of the hands you want, i guess you have to find the happy medium, i think like, rather than "play when you feel good" i would choose a philosophy more like "don't play when you feel bad but play all other times" kinda thing :O

Good Job. I suffered a sick 5 buyin loss within an hour, and have switched to some sit+gos. That also helps me too.

I am a degen. Do not believe in any of my advice.
