Hi,
i was talking with a friend lately about poker & bot especially cash game bot (we dont even know if that thing exist atm?). Anyway, i defended the fact that a bot at NL5 FR programmed to:
- auto-shove preflop JJ+, AKs,AKo
- set mine all others PP and when hit bet pot every street
...will be a winning bot at this limit. Notice the bot can only do these moves and nothing else. Of course he wasnt agree but he couldnt explain why. So we need more opinions.
What do you think?

compute rake paid vs probability your hands do hold => you lose money without rakeback.
(at this specific level).

I know its NL5, but I dont ever remember seeing too many people open shove that much, so I dont think you're ever gonna get paid off there. As for set mining, well youre not gonna hit that very often either, so I think this bot would just blind itself to death.

bye now

I don't know if you see my point, but, just make the maths here, do not rely on your instincts. Put the percentage of hands played, the probability they hold on average (depending on the numbers of people you are playing on average), the average money you get, and you get your winrate.
Dont forget you cant always set-mine (after your call someone squeeze, what are you doing ?), and a set hold to the river approximatevely 68/72%, and also don't always get paid off.

In brief: make the maths, with such a gameplan, computing winrate is easy.
