Was aiming for 6K hands, got 5.1K in.
I think my game's getting somewhere, despite the mixed results. I obviously have retarded parts of my game, exemplified by this hand, but I'm doing my best to open up more LP, and raise in spots I used to be weak money.
I think the main challenges will be:
* Dealing with steals when I'm in sb/bb
* Dealing with light 3betters(7-8%) when I'm oop (I'm MP, and BU 3bets, etc)
* Opening up to about 26/23'ish from CO/BU

Just went through like 20 of my losing hands, I'm pretty sure I need to pitch marginal / one pair type hands when villains give put up a fight. |

getting there, you can still steal more in position. something CTS did when he was in your position was to open every hand on the button when it was folded to him no matter what.
you need to defend your blinds more, double that VPIP. think of a way to win pots from your blinds: either 3betting, or calling then c-r or donking or raising shit up when people limp |

i got the same problem/leaks in my game, its very hard for me to open up my game also, im a fucking nit a 6 max :D

Btw imo you dont have to "deal" with 7 or 8% 3bet when oop. When you try youll just get yourself owned when you try to play big pots out of position. Just fold a lot (unless they go monkey, but they dont at nl50) and 4bet, maybe pick one or two hands from you opening range that you 4bet fold so that your 4bets arent only for value.
Also if you have a competent lag on your left its a good strategy to leave the table. |
