this isn't how you do it btw lol... you fold out all of his trash and get called by everything that beats you

if you're going to 4bet, do it smaller like 2.5x and give villain room to shove over with bluffs when you have a good hand.

and you have to consider in how many hands he's been 3betting you how often because he just might be running good over a short run of hands.

Yeah, you do need to be very good at 3-bet wars cuz 50nl is so aggressive.

And yea, 4-bet bluffs mean you fold to a shove. I'm pretty sure you can be like 5 ptbb/100+ winner on 50nl even if you fold everything else than JJ+/AK to 3-bets :D No need to get crazy with crap. Plus, this shove is horrible horrible horrible. You don't want to give your opponent the chance to play perfectly. In fact, I might go as far as to say that that's exactly the opposite of what you want your opponent to do.

hand sample was like 300, but yea I'm not sure wtf I was thinking here

What would you do here if you were oop (CO vs BU, etc)? 4bet 2.5x and fold to shove?

edit: say you know villain tends to 3bet over Taggy players' steals, and you have a hand sample of 300 saying he 3bets 7.9% of the time or smth. You have teh same hand OOP, what would you do?

He obviously wasn't 3betting light here

and when you 4b shove like that you actually look pretty weak. Top of your range is like AK imo people are never doing this with AA KK QQ.

If you think he's 3betting you light the easiest thing to do is 4bet him. Or you can raise/check raise (if OOP) all in any flop if you think he's doing it really light and make him fold on the flop. You want to be more sure in this case. 4bet shoving is pretty much the worse thing you can do here because hit lets him play his hand perfectly pretty much. he'll fold worse and snap with better.
