Well, it happens - what can I do ? It's not because of an injury, actually I don't know if there's any reason of this disease. It is called Osteochondritis Dissecans of the Knee (actually of the knee-cap).
Here's the X-Ray:

I'm going to undergo an operation - probably just before Christmas. Hopefully everything will be allright. However, I can't go snowboarding this year. It sucks hard cause I wanted to go to Alps so badly this year :/ Dammit !
I was going to post a poker-update but I guess I'll do it later. My knee is more important.
Peace,
Mike

In osteochondritis dissecans, a loose piece of bone and cartilage separates from the end of the bone because of a loss of blood supply. The loose piece may stay in place or fall into the joint space, making the joint unstable. This causes pain and feelings that the joint "sticks" or is "giving way." These loose pieces are sometimes called "joint mice." Osteochondritis dissecans usually affects the knees and elbows. |
