Yeah, went busto trying to clear the bonus. Oh well thats what you get for playing underrolled, but i had no choice, because time was running out to get the FPPs. Made a few misplays, and then basically ran cold as hell, i have gotten it in as a favourite almost all the time, and basically lost most of it.
That 500€ bonus would have really helped me, dang. Now i feel kinda lost.
Maybe ill deposit around 100€ later there, but dont feel good about it, because i cant spend more and it would still mean playing underrolled, but the chance of getting the bonus is just too juicy!
I also went for a 50$ starting bonus on UB, started good, going horribly now. Im down to 22$. The good thing is that i am not tilted, even though i am running like shit. But the bad thing is that i am about to go busto there as well soon, and i dont really know where to start again.
Maybe the poker gods hate me and i just should stop playing poker? But i hate to give up like that, oh well... but i have this feeling that i will never be a winning player again.
end, uninteresting blog post.

lol @ you thinking they hate a guy with a $22 bankroll... there are no downswings at super micro stakes, only bad plays that makes you lose money, but its cool cause you are starting, don't give up, everyone lost a few hundred from their pockets when they started (I lost around $300) but once you make the click at micro stakes, you'll never need look back or deposit again |

Stop worrying about bonuses, just start off grinding low stakes. It might be boring and feel pointless, but everyones gotta start somewhere. |

Haha, what has the amount of money you have in your br to do with having luck / bad luck ? Nothing. And its not like i always had a small br like that, i was well rolled for nl200 a long while ago. So yes, i know what bad streaks etc. are. But this is atrocious, and it feels like i will never be able to even win at this game any longer. I surely do some bad plays due to tilt occasionally, and i did it a lot since i first started losing, but lately i have been quite learned not to do it anymore, yet i still dont succeed anymore.
Most frustrating thing to become from a solid nl100/200 winner to a player that seems not to be able to win at micro stakes any longer.
Well sorry for whining and thanks for your posting anyway. |

IMO I would read what people like Strato say since he is a great player giving good words of wisdom. Knock down your self-pride and take in what people say. Grinding is definitely driven with some type of self-motivation but improvement can also be made too. Seek other poker friends or other people about playing certain hands/finding leaks/etc. At some point you'll fall back into place to where you want to be. |
