Hello everyone!

my name is Bartek, and i've been playing poker for about a year, right now after becoming fucking impressed by Myths poker knowledge (sorry Peachy guy, he impressed me more ;d) i decided to create blog, post hands in which i have some doubts, hoping that some nl200+ regulars will find time to discuss with me my leaks etc.

right now i'm playing nl100, after crushing nl50 for 9ptbb over ~45k hands

today i played one sesion, not really impresive one

i'm satisfied with vpip/pfr/agr because i play looser and more agresive than at nl50, but my wsf and won at showdown sucks so much, hope its just because of small sample

now some hands i wanted to ask about:
1) + Show Spoiler +

what do you think about my bet sizing? i wanted ace rag call me as many streets as possible, does it suck, and i should be beting ~90%?
villain runs 30/11/1 over small sample in which i haven't seen him calling 3 streets with <tp

2) + Show Spoiler +

opponent runs 19/11/1.5 but was constantly 3beting me from blinds while i was raising from co/button, what play is best here?
i thought he can easily think that i'm frustrated with his 3bets, and his calling range will be really wide, but i was wrong, as he thought for a long time before calling this with qq, what is best option vs this kind of player? 4bet to 25, and fold to a raise? just call and play jj oop in 3bet pot which can possibly suck?

3) + Show Spoiler +

can i find a fold somewhere here knowing his a 12/7/1.5 nit? after his turn raise i thought about set, but i thought "i can't be so fucking scared about playing vs nits, if its set, well i have to pay him off" what about ak, aj i beat on river? is this correct to call turn despite the fact he's a nit? i thing easy call river because of ak,aj ay?

4) + Show Spoiler +

and the last hand, i'm most interested about
i'd obv love to get it in on flop, but what to do on turn, is it easiest bet on earth? or should i just take a free card, and give up on turn? what about my small river bet, is it worth it? is he folding in 30% here because it looks like vbeting a monster or its terrible?
(36/0/0.3 bleh)

thanks in advance

what about turn bet in hand 3? i wanted to make it small, so a pocket pair calls it having 2 outs, does it make sense?
now i see hand 4 if i bet, it should have been bigger, like 24-26 right?

hand 1 fold pf but bet bigger every street since you hit the nuts

hand 2 if hes 3betting you so much then just call and let him try to bluff you postflop and you can't 4bet fold so calling is best and jamming is worse than 4betting

hand 3 as played you cant fold obviously but I'd 3bet pre to avoid getting into a 3way pot and fold if he 4bets

hand 4 bet flop obv and check behind turn since nothing that called that flop is folding that turn and river bluff is bad for the same reasons as the turn bet unless he had a draw himself

hand 1 - why are you opening K5 utg? fold pre. as played i make it $16 on the turn and $45 on the river (into a $51 pot)

hand 2 - fine if he's been 3betting you regularly, sometimes i like flatting his 3bet pre though.

hand 3 - i like preflop, but after a passive nit raises me that big on the turn on a semi-drawy flop i'm out of there

hand 4 - i give up on river

hand 1 i raised cause it was 4 handed :
Hero raises to $3.50
ali4321 folds
waz_Q6 folds
TheAEsi calls $2.50

i don't remember exacly, but i think they tended to fold much from blinds, so i was raising almost anything what could flop decent

I'd raise hand one 4 handed as well, I'd bet much bigger on turn and river cause he'll think he's splitting with any other ace except A9 and AK (and A5, AA obv).

Hand 2 I think can be fine since people will be like "lol AK I snapcall with 55" but I'd probably like a call or small 4bet more. If you 4bet to 25 you should call a shove.

Hand 3.. Maybe fold preflop vs 12/7 lol. How many hands? I guess having the fish limping might make it fine but oop and off-suit, multiway, I'm not loving it.. But it depends on how many hands you have on him, if he likes to isolate limpers and if he's looser in late position or just a total nit who doesn't know what position is.

If he wasn't so tight a 3bet would be ok (although if the limper is really terrible then I might want to keep him in and just call.. I think).

Hand 4 IF I decided to bluff, I'd shove river. However, vs this guy on this board I would check behind. I think your turn bet is good because you have sooooooo many outs and probably some fold equity.

In the future when posting hands, maybe you could cut out the results cause it can be hard to not be results oriented ..

Btw, for those saying fold K5s cause we are "UTG".. it's a 4handed table so we are in the CO. I think that's a totally fine/standard open as long as the button isn't annoying (or the blinds are annoying but that's less of an issue as they are oop).

Hm.. Off-suite socks..Last edit: 15/08/2008 18:38

I'm wasted, so I'll have to comment on the hands sober, but what is with 62% folding BB to steal? If that is normal for you, you are flying out of the big blind far too much, or even worse, calling. gl.

Researchers used brain scans to show that when straight men looked at pictures of women in bikinis, areas of the brain that normally light up in anticipation of using tools, like spanners and screwdrivers, were activated.

over decent sample my sb folding is 88% and bb is 83%

today i had just good run from bb (+27$) and many pots were blind wars
