Do you have a job? Otherwise it can be hard as hell to get the stuff that normal people can get, i.e a flat or a house or whatever. It's so stupid. Even if you have cash that normal people don't have, landlords and banks etc.. don't like you cause all they see when you tell them what your income is.. is a big clown, a joker.

from looking it up in ten seconds, it looks like a company that has only lost money over the last 5 years. they never made a profit before or after tax.

they are a biotechnology company. (these commonly lose money) they need to have some very promising products in their pipeline for their stock to skyrockets. then their products get copied or it doesnt seem to work in the end or some instance like the FDA says no to it. and they keep losing money developing products. if they bring out a blockbuster you make a lot of money, if not you lose a lot. it's a big gamble especially if you don't really know anything about the industry (like me). i wouldnt recommend you to make them a big holding in your portfolio.

so i try to avoid biotech companies.

i don't know how informed you are about investing - i am no professional or expert by any means myself - but i would recommend a form of passive management

setup a diversified portfolio though, trackers on euro and us stock markets, but also on BRIC and perhaps some commodity index or basket.
