Right now I am sitting at the university in Nuremberg, waiting for some friends to finish their presentation so I can get a ride home to Erlangen, so this will rather be a bad uninteresting blog entry.
Poker has been going soso in the last time. No graphs avaible here, but my overall winrate at NL200 is only like 2BB/100 over 50k hands. I definately have some minor tilt issues, but the main reason is probably the lack of fish.
I really try to table-select, but in a long session the fish usually get busto and the tables fill up with regs. I really don't like playing against regs since I don't have a huge edge over them and they are hard to extract value from.
Now, I am not a degenerate, but I self-excluded myself from playing on stars over the time shift of 30 days. Reason is that my exams are coming up and I really need to concentrate on the university stuff right now, because till now I rather was chilling, hanging around, partying, doing sports and of course playing poker . The semester already is running 8 weeks and I am up about 11k USD which is nice as hell, but still do I consider my degree more important, and poker distracted me a lot.
hmm, i was about to offer $5 on stars for someone who finds the epic 1-2-teddy thread on 2+2 where OP gets owned with TPGK by an openshoved straight flush on the flop, because I cannot find it. But if someones knows it, please post it here.
UPDATE: had to rush from uni, that's why I couldn't complete this:
I cannot offer $5 now because my acc is locked atm obv. But if some busto micro grinder sees no other possibility to get money, i will give it to you on 18th of July if you find this thread for me.

good idea on banning urself, im cramming hardcore cos i failed to ban myself a month ago from now... got 2 exams one tomorrow and one sat... save urself the stress 
14k usd is sweet too. and i agree 200nl fr is much easier when the tables arent clogged with Huha'sgirl and so on |

grat'ing before the actual b-day happens is bad mannered guys, where are your manners? PPlusAD guess you can sleep on the floor in my tiny rathole but neither do i have a schlafsack nor a iso matte... if you can orga this, would be nice as fuck, but my guess is that you come by car so you can get a lot of shit with you! oh, and this will just a chilling have some drinks in the kneipe have, not big party to be honest, its monday! |

yeah man the NL200 FR games on stars are retardedly infested with regulars. its to the point where its not even worth playing them imo(or @ least the times i play). i know there are times where theyre softer, but i dont play @ those times and even then there are still a ton of regs. its just ridiculous. 2BB/100 is still a good winrate man! |

Maybe you should try hiring a coach who could teach you how to do well against the regs at your level. I don't play that high but it seems like it would be a good investment if it raises your ptbb to around 4 or so. |

well, i play at german times obv, so differently from you shaneomac. Stars has its peak exactly when its midnight here (CET). Think then are still the euros playing and the amis also start to log in. So usually i play untill this time, often also in the noon. the lowest point is at 12am (CET), but usually i am at uni at that time.
Strange, the amis are complaining about the regs, i am comlaining about the regs and i also have some australian poker friends (hi siro, lachlan) who also think there are better times to play. Strange, probably we are doing sth wrong 8D |
