April has been terrible for me. I'm exactly $3600 down this month with cash games and tournaments combined. I've been running really bad but the thing is that I believe I've been playing very decent.
It's like becoming a pattern that I run good one month and the next one bad. I don't know why because It's not like I change my style every month or something like that...
January: $21,527
February: $6500
March: $10271
April: $3600
I don't remember having a session like today's before... It was just weird, tons of setups and suckouts. Had a few NL200 and NL400 tables going and I was very calmed down. Played about 1k hands but things just didn't work out.

I've been playing with Sweet.kr for a long long time and I remember him as a huge huge nit. This month, he has loosen up a little and plays 22/20. He was 3betting me light the whole day and insta 4betting me a lot of times... I've seen him make bad calls preflop like this time and the results are not different. He is a poker God.

I was 3betting this guy often enough for him to make a 4bet-tilt raise. I had him running at 24/21 so its not like I put my money in vs a huge nit. Plus his 4bet was huge so I was sure I had him preflop. Flop sucked, cause the only hands I beat were AQ+ and 99. Turn was awesome, AQ made the nutstraight and AK TPTK.

Standard and very gay I have to say it. Guy had like 10hands in the table and his luck to the max gave him a set over set when his seat was still cold.

AAvsAAvsKK AIPF at NL400 for a 300bb pot
UTG nit playing 10/10 over 120hands raises with AA and because of his nittyness, I 3bet him 4xhis raise with AA too. Very LAG player that I have a history with 4bets and puts half his stacks in. UTG instacalls and my thoughts were, because of my bad run and kinda dissapointed for the last beats, "AAvsKKvsQQ yay, lets see a KQx flop". Close.

I guess I'm gonna have to stop playing in April and play non-stop at May when my good run returns. Or stop at Stars and give other sites a try like Titan/ipoker. Definitely not FTP lol :D

Probably gonna try the ipoker network again for cash games, but I'll still be playing the decent tourneys at Stars. |

I think you are just not playing solidly enough
I know you are a tournament player and all u think is about run good or bad, but theres a reason why some cash game players never really have a losing month (At least on non-nosebleed high stakes).
Now i dont wanna sound like a cock, just trying to help you my friend  . And one easy and 100% true example is myself, I dont think i just run good a whole year >.<
So keep focusing on the small leaks you may have, and don't think much about running good/bad. |

I was thinking the same while writing my post. Grinders, the real good ones, doesnt matter if they are at low or high stakes, they win $, and no, u don't sound like a cock, ty
