I deposited $50 onto Pokerstars about 2 months ago, I worked it up to $100 through grinding $1 9 and 18mans, I was cashing consistently.
Since about two weeks ago I cannot win. My bankroll has been slashed to about $30, mainly as a result of losing consistently in SNGs, I just cannot win, it's rare that I even cash. This has made me feel as if I'm a horrible player and I was merely on a good run of cards in the winning month and and a half where I built up my bankroll. This has shattered all my confidence and I just can't win now...
I've read the Harringtons, can't afford PXF and I've been sharing hand histories with friends, I just don't know what to do.
Surely my BR can't be cut in half just because of variance? I don't feel as if I've altered my play since I started winning but maybe I'm doing something differently which I'm not aware of.
I only started using Pokertracker a few weeks ago so my HHs from the winning month and a half aren't obtainable.
Currently my BR is sitting at $20 (LOL) so I feel like I'm playing mega scared cos I don't wanna go busto, even though I keep telling myself that most people go bust a few times before they becoming a 'winning' player, it's all subconscious thing I guess.
Anyway, I have $80 IRL money to my name ATM and the bank isn't open til tomorrow and I have a fine to pay ( drinking in public on schoolies  ) btw schoolies is like australians spring break at the end of high school! so if anyone can ship me $50 on pokerstars i'd be willing to do something in return to prove im trustworthy, share a wow account password or something, i have no idea.
basically i just think if theres more in my physical roll i'll play better because i won't be scared, or if maybe anyone wants to trade $20 PS for $20 FTP i could have a go on full tilt with a clear head!
obv as soon as i'm up to $100 or if it goes back down to $50 i'd send it straight back because i wouldn't want to lose any of your moneysssss. for aus starcraft players im a good friend of ftrunkz and i'm sure he'd vouch for me!

reread the harringtons
either only play the 9 mans or only play the 18 mans, play only 4 tables at a time
if u lose the 20$ after doing those and can't beat the 1$ sitngos, quit poker
100% serious
just thank God u didn't waste years of ur life finding out poker is not for u |

i only usually play 2 at a time, i find it easier to remember betting patterns/what hands people have played and stuff
aww man i dont wanna quit!
i find it so fun, im currently leading the local ladder, ive final tabled 9 out of the last 11 nights in the local tourneys, theres usually about 110 players at those
i just dont know why i cant win anymore when i started off so well =[ |

1. Most winning players haven't gone bust. There is certainly no reason to these days
2. If your having this much trouble with $1 tournies you shouldn't necesarly quit poker, but just recognize that if you don't it will probably be a costly hobbey and not a job or money making oppurunity for you.
3. I'ld strongly encourage you not to borrow money to play poker when your not a proven winner. |

two words. CASH GAMES!! go to the article section here and read the basics and start grinding .01/.02nl. After you get your game str8 and your bankroll str8, then think about doing sngs. |

really chobo? how much would it cost?
i only just finished my school and am currently looking for a job, so as soon as i have a job i'm going to deposit a decent amount, say $250 - $350 and start from there.
i'd rather be able to chat with someone 1on1 instead of just looking at videos like what pxf offers |

Yea I need help wtih my game as well.
Ive seem to break even. according to sharkscope i have played 340 games and pretty much broke even.
I read a few books. And i just order tounament poker by slansky with my fpp's on stars.
If some one could help me with sng's and turn me into a winning player, i would share share the profit with them. i play mostly 6.50 sngs turbos. I wasted a bunch of money on the 180 4$. But i have been breaking even in the 5$ and 6$ single table sngs
