for most people, the selection of friends approximates the following tree struct:
does person live closeby?
-yes/no
if yes, does person have a pulse and not smell?
-yes/no
if yes, friend selected
however, for me, the case structure more closely approximates the following:
does the person provide anything of value with regards to the ability to expand my thought processes?
- yes/no
if yes, would that which he or she provides be satisfied by the question, what would i be thinking if i were 40 IQ points dumber than i am at the present time?
- yes/no
if yes, is she hot?
- yes/no. if yes, friend selected. in this case friend = pending penis receptacle for serial monogamy.
if no, do they smell?
- discount potential friend status
