I have no idea how to play craps, but how sweet would it be to be a craps dealer?

I'm sure they'll rotate me in for blackjack and other shit too. I'm pretty excited about this because I think it's gonna pay pretty decent (maybe $10/h) plus tips. I'm pretty sure the job is basically perfect for my personality and stuff, and I'm almost positive I'll get the job and i'm stoked. The only really bad part is that this casino is ~37 miles away or something.

Have you ever wondered which hurts the most: saying something and wishing you had not, or saying nothing, and wishing you had?

easily $30+ hour....at my local casino...i think you need above average math skills(something i heard from a dealer, but i would think that would be required for all dealers except poker just match the chips and rake your pot)

I'm really really good at math/especially mental math

37 miles is a pretty decent drive, but my truck gets ~23 miles to the gallon and I live in a semi rural area so there isn't traffic and lights and things to worry about. I'm pretty sure that the $10/h alone will makeup for the extra drive I have to make to get there, and the tips will just be on top of that.

$30/hr would be sick nice, the standard of living in my area is really really low anyway and I'll be happy with $10/hr alone.

so i'll be spending like $10 a day on gas or something =\

I also have friends that live really close to the casino and I might stay with them occasionally.

sounds pretty good

I have learned from poker that being at the table is not a grind, the grind is living and poker is how I pass the time

I'm not 100% sure if they have a dorm or an apartment, so it would depend upon that.

I've never been to their school to see them =\

i used to live about 37 hours away from my last job b4 poker, i hated driving to and from work, by the time i got there, i would get into my office, shut the door, and think of a reason to go home.
but its not that bad if your doing the drive to a place you want to go to... if i were you, id work there and days you had off, start putting money into savings, then play the 1/2 game or w/e with your savings money..

Wait...why would you work as a dealer, when you can make way more playing poker?
