Figured I'd do a brief resume of this year, mainly for me, to set up new goals or reafirm old goals.

Also because I've become really lazy with poker, how do you motivate yourself to play everyday? Maybe I just need a break a hopefully this new trip (from 4th to 10th January) will freshen me up to completely grind this new month.

I also have a REALLY lousy memory t.t

2007

January

Started with 50$ free from pokerstrategy. I spend the whole month basically reading about poker strategy and learning about the whole poker world, and playing little.

February

Won couple 6$ tournaments to get my money up to 700$, only to lose it all after tiltint on NL25 finishing off at NL200.

March

From the 40$ or so I had left, regrinded NL5 into NL10 and soon NL25 again. I was purely 6-max player.

April

Can't win NL25$ !!! WTF!!! Started to visit LP.net frequently.

Got help from Yugless and capaneo for FREE! <3. Also got to talk to them on MSN for poker and general discussions

May

Started to play on pokerstars with 70$ br (left my 800~1000$ rest of party earned br on my bank account) from NL10 again, got to 1.1k br in a short period of time on NL25 and did some NL50.

June

Cashed out all from ps (Around 1200$) and deposited like 700$ on noiqpoker thx to my friends Kalle and Jussi <3.

Started at NL20$ but after 2 days or so I started NL50 with 800$+ br, never went down again, won enough to take shots at NL100.

July

Played almost exclusively NL100 6-max, took couple shots at NL200. Can't win at 6-max!! "IM TOO UNLUCKY" At the end of the month I decided I will try Full ring. Made around 3k that month so br : around 6~7k *I think*

Also around the start of the month I got Nolan MSN, and 1 hour lessons from him, it wasn't free tho </3! It made me realize that 1 hour lessons are a waste of time, if you wanna learn from someone you need to spend several hours discussing and playing.

August

Started to play FR NL50 at first but soon after NL100. Run good, played decent (kinda bad actually). Started NL200 FR as well when I hit 10k br.
It was the first time in my pokerlife that I was able to win 1k$+ in a day, made like 4 or 5 of those days too.

September

Great month, up more than 6k$ the first 10 days and then the heater kinda stopped, didn't lose but didn't win THAT much either, I decided that I needed someone to teach me how to play poker properly, since I realized I really didn't have a clue.

October

Beautiful October, I will remember you.

Turning point. Got coaching from D_Zoo the whole month <3 to start playing the NL400 tables regularly. br around 25k I guess. Just owned the tables and made like 27k including rakeback (but excluding what I had to pay D_Zoo, still <3 tho)

Also got shaneomac MSN, he was also a D_Zoo student at the time, we still share poker hands and experiences

November

Not that good a month at first, I didn't play that much either, kind of in a dowsing I guess, still at the end made 10k+rakeback.

The best thing was that I won a EPT ticket so I get to go to either Germany, Poland or Denmark to play, on 2008.

Took soome succesful shots at NL600, and non succesful shots at NL1k.

December

Solid month too. I became a regular at the NL600 tables and I kept winning there like a madman, I think my all time bb/100 at those tables is like 22 over like 4k hands which isn't that many hands AT ALL but still pretty nice lol.

Also played like 1k hands at NL1k, breaking even =[.

I think got like 22k+ profits overall including rb which is nice.

2008

So! GOALS :

- Finally be a NL1000$ winner.
- Definetly get another coaching deal for this level (NL1k) if possible. Has to be a serious and dedicated coach like dear D_zoo tho!
- Climb up to NL5k hopefully by the end of the year!
- Win at an EPT or WSOP event (I will most likely be attending WSOP this year!).

Cheeeeers!

Very impressive, man. I didn't realize you haven't been playing for that long, I really hadn't read LP enough to recognize your name until this fall. I hope to follow in your footsteps, so it's interesting to see how you got where you are. I have been kinda putting off looking for coaching since at low stakes coaches cost quite a bit relative to bankroll, but now I'm thinking I should look into it soon.

Good luck in 2008.

that's really great man. I would say your goal of winning WPT/EPT is quite farfetched though. Not commenting on your MTT skills, but those tournaments are tough and just lots of variance. Making a final table is hard enough as it is. glgllgg

phil hellmuth is genuinely a stupid person and he does not understand poker very well at all - [vital]myth
